We already know that Ferrari is working on a hotter version of the 458 Italia but now the car was officially photographed ahead of its official debut in September at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. Dubbed Ferrari 458 Monte Carlo, the new car is a so-called Scuderia and reports suggest that it will be powered by the same 4.5-liter V8 engine found on the standard version, which will develop 620 hp.

This means that it will carry an extra 50 hp comparing it with the current 458 Italia. Furthermore, the 458 Monte Carlo is expected to be 100 kg lighter due to the use of carbon fiber. Moreover, it will come with a new bodykit consisting of revised front and rear bumpers, new rims and a new exhaust system. He well-known racing stripes will also be present on the car, but now as you can see from the photos, are hidden under the plastic bags.

Special-series Ferraris, which are meant to suit a certain kind of owner, provide a more focused sports car that delivers extreme emotions when driving. These include the Ferrari 458 Speciale, the 458 Italia, and 458 Spider.

The Ferrari range will make drivers feel an exceptional response-rate and the natural control it boasts even on extreme maneuvers whether on the road or on track. The Speciale sports this finely-tuned handling balance, making the car easily reach the highest performance of any Ferrari V8.

New berlinetta is a result of developments related to the quest for extreme technology, and higher levels of driving thrills and performance. Applied with advanced technical innovations for the modern powertrain, aerodynamic design and vehicle dynamics which sets it apart from its predecessor, the 458 Italia, to an unprecedented extent in the previous 430 Secuderia special and Challenge Stradale series.

The core of the engineering philosophy of Ferrari is centered around blazing the trail with each new model while maintaining the inherent chassis balance and handling. This core allows even non-professional drivers to reach maximum performance and driving pleasure. All clients of the new Ferrari 458 Speciale were guaranteed to have the genuine exciting experience of sporty driving even on low speeds on more difficult roads.
