Suzuki is re-introducing the Special Edition Swift SZ-L this year in the UK

Article by Christian A., on July 11, 2014

Suzuki is re-launching the Special Edition Swift SZ-L following a successful run early this year. Suzuki will commence producing another set of SZ-L for the second half of 2014. The SZ-L is derived from the 1.2-liter SZ3 that features as standard seven airbags, ESP, air conditioning, USB port and Bluetooth and LED daytime running lights.

It also features exclusive two-tone metallic paintwork in either Boost Blue or Cosmic Black with contrasting Cool White roof, rear spoiler and door mirrors. The Swift SZ-L is powered by the 1.2-liter Dual VVT 94PS engine that is regarded as one of the most powerful in its class.

Despite the power, the engine only emits 116 grams of carbon dioxide per kilometer, costing just £30 in annual VED after the first year while returning 56.5 mpg on the combined cycle.

SZ-L is bracketed in insurance group 11E, making it a perfect acquisition for younger Swift fans and enthusiasts who are wanting to get their hands on a more striking car without shelving too much money.

Suzuki will still offer the SZ-L through a range of flexible payment options via Suzuki Financial Services. A Personal Contract Hire is available for the five-door SZ-L at just £145 per month.

The amount is spread over a 42-month term following an initial down payment of £1,740. Likewise, customers could avail of the low rate Personal Contract Purchase, making the car available for just £149 per month spread over 42 months with an initial deposit of £1,699. [source: Suzuki]
