Toyota introduces newest add-on: the Hilux Invincible grade

Toyota Motor Corp is extending its ever-credible Hilux line-up to include a new, top-of-the-range Invincible grade. The Invincible grade is Toyota’s answer to customers who want to merge power and dependability with comfort and style. The Hilux Invincible could be availed in Extra Cab or Double Cab body styles, and in 'Active' or 'Sport' versions.

The Hilux Invincible Active boasts of a silver front underguard, chrome air-intake and fog lamp and rear lamp bezels, as well as 'Invincible' door badging.  The Hilux Invincible Active’s all-black interior includes black fabric seats, a soft-padded armrest, a leather handbrake and a light grey roof lining, as well as 'Invincible' scuff plates.

On the other hand, the Hilux Invincible Sport features chrome hi-bars -- with an option for a hard-top chrome side bars -- 17" dual-tone alloy wheels and black, full leather seats. The Hilux Invincible could be availed in 8 exterior body colors. Interested buyers could choose between four powertrain options: a 2.5 liter D-4D engine with manual transmission and either 2WD or 4WD, and a 3.0 litre D-4D unit with manual or automatic transmission and 4WD.

The Hilux Invincible will be available for sale across Europe in the second half of 2013. The Toyota Hilux has been sold across the world for almost 46 years.  Toyota has sold around 15 million Hilux globally. It is also available in DLX, DLX+, SR and SR+ model ranges. [source: Toyota]
