The current BMW 7 Series made its debut two years ago at the BMW headquarters in Munich, before it made its way to the International Auto Show in Germany weeks after. It was the first 7 Series that was introduced as a plug-in hybrid variant.
However, this one-off M760Li was customized by BMW Individual customization program. It wears an Austin Yellow paint job that looks good on the sedan, while riding on a set of 21-inch multi-spoke wheels. This is the only 7 Series that has been painted in this unique shade. This colour is typically reserved for an M4 or an M3, and you can find this unit showcased in BMW Abu Dhabi.
The 7 Series’ interior is then finished in creme-coloured leather, which stretches from the seats, to the dash, and to the center console. To bring some flair to it, BMW Individual also added wood paneling and black leather on the steering wheel and on the dash. When looking at it, the model’s exterior paint and interior colours seem to be lacking some contrast. We think that a black interior would make a better contrast with the yellow paint.
As for performance, the M760Li is a more than just a beautiful machine. It comes with a 6.6 liter biturbo V12, paired to an eight-speed automatic gearbox that brings power to all four wheels. Overall, the car produces as much as 610 horsepower (448 kilowatts) and 590 pound-feet (800 Newton-metres) of torque. And in just 3.7 seconds, it can go from zero to 60 miles per hour (96 kilometers per hour), before it hits a top speed of 189 miles per hour (304 kmh).
In the United States, a brand new BMW M760Li will cost you about $153,800, and in Germany, it will come with a price tag of €168,090. That will only get you the regular version of the car and not this BMW Individual customized one. With all those upgrades, the cost could be considerable. So far, there has been no mention of the price.
BMW Abu Dhabi does have some of the coolest customized BMW vehicles out there - wearing rare hues, and some of them even being extra powerful. Similarly, there is also a BMW M4 Cabriolet with AC Schnitzer upgrades available from Abu Dhabi Motors. This one is finished in a Speed Yellow paint instead with a six-cylinder engine producing 431 horsepower. In just 4.4 seconds, it can achieve the standard sprint with the optional M Drivers Package before continuing on to a max speed of 280 km/h.
