The Middle East is home to a number of one-off vehicles, as well as specially modified luxury cars. Almost every month, we hear about new cars being unveiled or brought into the country, and a lot of them are BMWs.
Now, one of the latest models that BMW Abu Dhabi Motors has on display is the mind blowing range-topping 7 Series that’s currently on sale. The last model we saw before this was the impressive M760Li xDrive finished in Imola Red, which we saw a few weeks ago. Now, BMW’s Long Beach Blue M760Li xDrive is just as striking as the last model we saw.
This is definitely not the first time we have seen this hue on a car. In fact, it has been used on different models like the M2 pocket rocket. You might also agree if I say that this colour looks a bit too wild on the large sedan. Thanks to the black carbon fiber accents all throughout the car, from the mirror caps to the 21-inch multi-spoke 629 design wheels, the whole package now looks so much better. But that’s not all that this car has to boast about. The car also has a 3D Design Body kit that adds some nice details here and there. Lastly, it has got a trunk lid spoiler from the M Performance.
Moving on to the car’s interior, we know that the 7 Series has a comfortable cabin. But this particular make has a very bright interior finish - that is a combination of cherry red leather seats, armrests, and door cards. This contrasts with the cold black and dark grey colours of the dashboard, steering wheel, and carpets. Lastly, there is an extensive wood trim too. We have no idea why, but for some reason, the same colours and materials were used for the M760Li that was mentioned earlier.
As for the mechanical bits, the dealership did not mention anything about it. But we do know that it carries a 6.6 liter biturbo V12 that is able to produce as much as 610 horsepower (448 kilowatts) and 590 pound-feet (800 Newton-metres) of torque. This engine works with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Apparently, this V12 enables the 5,000 pound (2.5 ton) flagship sedan to sprint from zero to sixty miles per hour (96 kilometers per hour) in just under four seconds, before it continues to its top speed of 189 miles per hour (304 kilometers per hour).
Now, the question is: what will BMW Abu Dhabi Motors surprise us with next? We are pretty excited to see what they have in store for us.
