John Cena is selling his one-off Verde Scandal Lamborghini Gallardo

Article by Christian A., on October 17, 2017

We have great news for pro wrestler and actor John Cena fans. He is selling his one-off Lamborghini Gallardo finished in a shade called Verde Scandal. Right now, it comes with an asking price of $147,788.

At the moment, it is at Lamborghini Palm Beach, and they are offering a Carfax Buyback Guarantee of 4,236 miles (6,817 km) on its odometer. This Gallardo is different from the rest of the models because it has a few custom bits too.

It is not just the Verde Scandal paint that makes this vehicle unique. It also has a 6-speed E-Gear transmission, power heated seats, Style and Branding package, transparent engine cover and Cordelia aluminum wheels. These are just what you can see on the outside. When moving into the interior, the seats, door panels and the roof are all wrapped in dual-tone Nero Perseus/Verde Scandal and Q-Citura Rhomboid pattern upholstery.

Cena said that the original owner of the Lambo wanted a matching interior and exterior, which is why the whole thing is pretty much covered in the same Verde Scandal shade. But the automaker could not provide the buyer’s request so they came up with this “Grellow” colour instead. The colour is similar to that of a tennis ball. This colour stretches from the seats, the steering wheel and many more.

To be honest, $150,000 is quite a reasonable price for a 2009 Gallardo LP560-4 Coupe that only has 4,236 miles. Any of you WWE fans interested?

In other news, a lot of you think that John Cena is all about bodybuilding and wrestling, but the pro wrestler is actually a huge car fan. In fact, he enjoys reviewing and giving in-depth tours of supercars - believe it or not. Some of the vehicles he has reviewed include a 2006 Ford GT, 2008 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, 2012 Range Rover Autobiography Ultimate Edition, and of course, this 2009 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4. The actor actually knows a lot about cars, and he can go into details related to performance and build history.

When he reviewed the 2009 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, also known as the “LamborGreeni,” he introduces himself an “Auto Geek”. He then explains that the name LP560-4 comes from the 5.2 liter V10 engine that produces 560 horsepower to this all-wheel drive. Cena then opens the trunk of the Gallardo revealing the engine, and explains why cars like these cost so much. He then added that the inside is quite small, as he enters the driver’s seat and demonstrates how he needs to slouch a little to drive, though he did say that being able to experience driving this car as “legendary”.
