Expect the latest safety and assistance features with a new set of shiny shoes to match! As the 2017 Chicago Auto Show opens this weekend, Infiniti steps out with two new special bundles for its luxury crossover and sedan models. To stay on the game, Nissan’s luxury division has loaded the Infiniti QX80 and Q50 Signature Editions with more options at a special price.
The 2017 Infiniti Q50 Signature Edition is exclusively offered on the 300hp 3.0 liter V6 variant. The package includes a new set of 17-inch alloy wheels among other exclusive interior amenities. Inside, the new Q50 Signature edition already comes with a tinted moon roof and a new Navigation system equipped with voice recognition that you can also use when changing gears.
For the rear wheel drive sedan, pricing for the Signature Edition package starts at $39,605 after $905 destination charges. The all-wheel drive on the other hand is priced at $41,605.
At the same event, Infiniti once again brings the QX80 Signature Edition after its successful premiere in 2016. Unlike with the sedan, the luxury division is offering more amenities on the 7-seater/ 8-seater crossover.
The exterior upgrade features a new set of dark 22-inch alloy wheels, 275/50R22 performance tires and chrome mirror casings. Interestingly, Infiniti will be offering this Signature Edition in four color varieties including Majestic White, Black Obsidian, Graphite Shadow and the Hermosa Blue variant.
For its interior upholstery, the QX80 Signature Edition will already come in Saddle Tan leather finish. Some of its new features include the latest driver assistance technologies such as Lane Departure Prevention, Blind Spot Intervention and Predictive Forward Collision Warning.
For better safety, Infiniti has also equipped the crossover with Forward Emergency Braking w/Pedestrian Detection technology. The rest of the amenities that are part of the package includes Intelligent Cruise Control, Blind Spot Warning as well as Backup Collision Intervention system.
Unfortunately, pricing for the Infiniti QX80 Signature Edition is not yet available at this time. As far as we can tell, the special edition crossover will be available in the US around May of this year and that the only powertrain available would be the 400hp, 5.6 liter V8 engine. Even so, interested buyers of the QX80 can still have a choice between a four-wheel drive or a two-wheel drive variant.
While we wait for further announcements, at least we have some good news to share about the sedan; the Q50 Signature Edition is now on sale and orders are currently being taken. Head off to the nearest Nissan dealership to get one for your garage.
