People who want to experience the luxury and power of the new 2016 Scion FR-S Release Series 2.0 will have to be quick with their pre-orders. Black and camel colors are prominent not only on the heated seats in the interiors, but also on its door armrest, center armrests, knee pads, and steering wheel. Camel colors are also used in the stitching. As proof of its exclusivity, each unit’s dashboard is embroidered with a numbered badge indicating the unit’s position in the 1000-unit limited run.

In addition to the special and luxurious upholstery and decking, drivers now have access to push-button start up with the Release Series 2.0. The front part of the car illuminates the road in front with HID headlamps paired with LED daylight running lamps.

Automatic climate control is also available. Exteriors are finished with an exclusive Lunar Storm paint job, and can be additionally spiced up using front lip and trunk spoilers if buyers opt for the aero kit. The Release Series 2.0 also features 17-inch forged alloy wheels.

As for its propulsion system, the limited edition sports car can be fitted with either an automatic or manual transmission. Both transmissions are capable of shifting up to sixth gear.

The automatic transmission comes with paddle shifters and Dynamic Rev Management technology. With its luxurious features and unparalleled technology features, Scion’s Vice President Andrew Gilleland described the new Release Series 2.0 as the “perfect” car for any application, from racing to normal driving.

Scion FR-S Release Series 2.0 will carry an MSRP of $29,510 for the manual version, while the automatic transmission has an MSRP of $30,610. Delivery and processing fees are at $795.
