MINI will unveil its MINI John Cooper Works Concept to the world at the 26th North American International Auto Show, also known as the Detroit Auto Show. MINI's presentation will center on a new edition of an original -- a new MINI that exudes unique and refined design, providing driving fun and featuring a range of innovative fittings.
In total, MINI will present seven members of its family at the Detroit auto show, slated from January 18 to 26, 2014. Organizers are expecting over 800,000 visitors to attend the event at Detroit's Cobo Center, which would be filled by around 200 exhibitors from around the world, showcasing their latest offerings, products and technologies.
The 2014 Detroit auto show will be a good venue for MINI to provide a glimpse of its offerings for the future. The latest generation of the MINI is touted to be a pioneer of individual style, quality and technology.
The new MINI features a well-enhanced design, new engines and new driver assistance systems -- making the new MINI more elegant, efficient, dynamic and progressive than before. Its characteristic go-kart feeling is now refined with optimized ride comfort, thanks to the adjustable dampers that come as an option for the first time.
The next generation MINI offers more interior space, optimized functionality and refinements in material and finish. Now, all four passengers of the new MINI can enjoy greater freedom of movement, while having 30 percent more space for the luggage.
Along with innovative driver assistance systems and the latest MINI Connected feature, the driver could now connect more with the MINI, which is now the first in its class to feature LED headlamps and a Head-Up Display. [source: MINI]
