Official: Porsche 911 (991) Targa, Cayenne Platinum Edition announced for 2014 NAIAS

Porsche officially announced that is kicking off 2014 in style as it will unveil the all-new 911 (991) Targa next week, at the 2014 North America International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. According to the German manufacturer, the new sportscar promises to combine the design of a Porsche original with innovative technical solutions to create a modern classic.

The Porsche 911 (991) Targa will make its debut in Detroit at the press conference on January 13 at 11:45 (17:45 CET) at the Porsche stand in Wayne Hall 1. Still, this is not the only model that Porsche will unveil in Detroit as the press release also announced the Cayenne Platinum Edition.

The special series comprises the conventional Cayenne models with six-cylinder engines and offers popular equipment options as standard. It will be easily distinguished by numerous detailed paint finishes in Platinum Silver Metallic and other features.
