German carmaker BMW is expanding its BMW M Performance Parts program by adding to the options available for the BMW 4 Series. With this development, customers could now avail of BMW M Performance Parts -- developed from the carmaker's motor racing expertise -- for the BMW 4 Series. BMW M vehicles as well as models of the BMW 1 Series, BMW 3 Series, BMW 5 Series and BMW 6 Series are already in the program.

The retrofit parts are conceived and developed in close cooperation with BMW M GmbH, offering such components in the areas of drive, suspension, aerodynamics and cockpit -- all contributing to a substantial boost of driving dynamics and the exterior and the interior ambience of a vehicle. With BMW M Performance Parts available for the BMW 4 Series, there are now more ways to authentically highlight the sporty character of the coupé, thereby providing a more intense driving experience.

The BMW M Performance Power Kit available for the 4-series provides significant surges in output and torque, without sacrificing fuel efficiency and without leading to higher emission levels. With the package, the BMW 420d will have 12Kw more output and 40Nm more torque, the BMW 430d will have 20kW more output and 40Nm more torque, and the BMW 435i will have 25kW more output and 50Nm more torque. Owners of BMW 428i and BMW 435i could also avail of the BMW M Performance silencer system, which includes BMW M Performance tailpipe embellishers in chrome and in carbon for the BMW 435i.

The BMW M Performance limited-slip differential assured optimized traction power transmission on bends. Other performance enhancing features include the BMW M Performance suspension with sporty set-up, the BMW M Performance brake system with red, yellow or orange calipers and the BMW M Performance light alloy wheels. Available in two design variants are weight-optimized forged 20-inch wheels, which could also be availed in the typical BMW M Performance bi-color look in Ferric Grey with burnished spoke fronts.

The BMW M Performance range also features the 18-inch winter complete wheel sets, in double-spoke design. BMW M Performance exterior parts are available to intensify the already dynamic aura of the BMW 4 Series, like a black radiator grid for the BMW kidney grille, a diffuser insert for the rear apron and side sill foils with M Performance inscription.

BMW M Performance exterior parts also include BMW M Performance side stripes and carbon front splitters, mirror caps and rear spoiler. The interior features the BMW M Performance sports steering wheel with red central marking or Race Display in 12 o'clock position, with the gear lever and handbrake handle in carbon including Alcantara gaiter. The gear selector switch of the automatic transmission could be availed in carbon finish. Other BMW M Performance interior upgrades include interior strips in carbon and Alcantara, high-grade steel pedals, a specially designed driver footrest as well as BMW M Performance floor mats.
