The 1.8-liter TSI engine allows the sports car to go from 0 to 100 km/h in merely 6.7 seconds and give it a maximum speed of 235 km/h.

The CUPRA selective Suspension meanwhile is a suspension control system that is so adaptable that the driver can choose to have either sport suspension or comfort suspension and even modify steering behavior. The XDS electronic differential lock on the other hand improves the handling characteristics of the Ibiza CUPRA and reduces the tendency to understeer. The ESP or electronic stability system includes a hill start assist with a multi-collision brake and the standard drowsiness warning that is part of the usual standard safety package.
