If you thought that Hamann (Hamann-Motorsport) is specialized only in tuning the most powerful cars in the world you have to reconsider this because the Germans unveiled at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show the new Fiat 500 Largo, a new customization program for the small hatchback.
The new customization kit from Hamann includes a new front bumper with integrated LED-lights as well as new wing extensions at the front and at the back meant to broaden the car body by impressive 30 mm at the front axle and 35 mm at the rear axle. The new customization kit for the Fiat 500 also includes new side sills, a new rear roof spoiler and a redesigned rear bumper with integrated air diffuser, as well as 4-pipe exhaust system.
These aerodynamic components are all made from light composite materials and are designed to give the Hamann Largo Fiat 500 a more masculine look.
The customization kit from Hamman is completed by the new Largo Forged Anodized wheels available in 8.0 x 18 for the front axle and 9.0 x 18 for the rear axle. These rims are wrapped in tires measuring 215/35 ZR18 or 225/35 ZR18. A new suspension kit was also added in order to lower the center of gravity of the Fiat 500 by up to 60 mm.
With the help of the sport exhaust system consisting in an end muffler with four round stainless steel pipes, a pre-muffler with a metal catalyser and a sport manifold the power level of the engine in the Hamann Largo Fiat 500 was boosted to an impressive 265 hp of max output at 5,630 rpm and 348 Nm of peak torque at 4,200 rpm.
With these numbers, the car needed also a new braking system and the tuner installed a new set of two perforated and internally ventilated brake discs (diameter 280 mm x 28 mm) at the front axle in combination with red 4-piston brake calipers and steel-covered brake tubes. Optionally, the rear axle can be equipped with discs measuring 257 mm in diameter). Inside we find a new set of aluminum pedals and a door mat set with embroidered Hamann sportive logo.
