Mazda to launch Koeru SUV concept at 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show

Article by Christian A., on August 7, 2015

The Mazda Koeru is set to have its world premiere at the upcoming Frankfurt International Motor Show. Mazda makes a bold statement with this new crossover SUV concept, which enters a highly competitive segment.

Koeru is the Japanese term for “exceed” or “go beyond”, making it an appropriate word for the brand’s newest venture into the expanding crossover SUV market. The automaker is aiming to exceed current standards and elevate the bar for performance, efficiency and overall value.

The Koeru was created using KODO – Soul of Motion design. This means that it demonstrates the power and vitality of a predator as well as offers a distinct type of refined dignity.

The automaker’s patented driving fun was in no way hurt by the complete range of the latest SKYACTIV Technology that guarantees exceptional dynamic performance, fuel economy and safety.

Mazda will also be showing off its new-generation model lineup at the Frankfurt show. Fans will be looking forward to seeing an all-new Mazda MX-5 that has its full range of accessories as well as several SKYACTIV powertrains. Mazda has a scheduled press conference on the fifteenth of September. The IAA is open to the public from September 17 to 27.
