Amid the frenzy surrounding the 85th 4 Hours of Le Mans affair at the notable Circuit de la Sarthe in France, gamers all around the world will be ecstatic to hear that the strenuous endurance race will have a counterpart in the thrilling world of sports. Gamer boys and girls alike, this will be your chance to let your skills be known to the gaming community.

To be more specific, famous German automotive maker Porsche and the American multinational tech company Microsoft have teamed up once again at the previously held New York Auto Show with Automobile Club de l'Quest (ACO) to organize an event together that will be widely known as the "Forza Racing Championship (Forza RC) Season 3: The Porsche Cup."

If you participate in the recently ongoing qualifying rounds and successfully make it to the finals, then you are eligible to compete in a 24 hour marathon. But here's the awesome catch: the said marathon will be held at the same time as the actual Le Mans race. This exciting announcement will surely draw in hundreds of gamers around the world as this is a one of a kind opportunity that is difficult to pass off.

Moreover, the finalists will be able to virtually maneuver the dashing Porsche 919 Hybrid for a rare chance to win money. The winner will not only win money, but will also be getting the coveted title in the newly made "Official Endurance Esports Category" that was established by Automobile Club de l'Quest. If you are up for it, you can also drive virtually by joining in the competition after you sign up at the Forza's official website, but you need an Xbox and Forza Motorsport 6 as a requirement. But you must hurry, as the ongoing qualifying matches will come to a halting end on May 28, and the final race is scheduled on June 17-18 that will be streamed by Microsoft on Youtube, Twitch and Beam.

Previously, the joint collaboration of Porsche and Microsoft was revealed in April to the excitement of avid supporters of the Stuttgart-based marque, as the fans have been long awaiting to use their favorite race cars in Forza games. Furthermore, Porsche will be finally featured in Forza games as part of a 6-year alliance since Porsche's exclusive partnership with EA Games has recently expired.

There's a new Porsche Car Pack for Forza Horizon 3 that will unleash swanky race cars that includes a 2016 911 GT3 RS, 1995 911 GT2 and the neat 1955 550A Spyder. These are done to celebrate the tie-up of the 2 notable companies. If you currently have a Playstation, then there's additional good news as Porsches will be also featured in Gran Turismo Sport. The only car that has been given the go signal to be featured in the game is the GT3 RS, and the said game will be made available at the latter part of the year.
