Forza Horizon 3 has recently released the third car pack which contains seven cars. This add-on was developed by celebrated racing apparel company Alpinestars. With this pack, players will now be able to use the Viper ACR and with its strong downforce, go head-to-head with the Acura NSX.
For those who love tuned cars made by Japanese companies, the car pack offers something exciting not only with the ability to use the second generation of the Mazda RX-7 but with the S14 Nissan Silvia which allows players to install the vintage body kit of the Rocket Bunny to it.
The other cars included in this pack are the 1967 Ford Falcon XR GT that was released on the Australian market, 1979 Talbot Lotus Sunbeam hatchback, and the BMW M4 GTS. This car pack is priced at $6.99 but for those who have the Forza Horizon 3 car pass, this same pack is free.
However, the news about Forza Horizon 3 is not only about the car pack as it includes a very interesting potential add-on. Through a teaser, fans were treated to a possible expansion of Forza Horizon 3 and while little was actually shown, snow is involved. While this possible weather may indeed be a good fit as the holidays are just around the corner in North America, it may not be the same for the actual game itself is set in Australia where warm weather is a possibility for the next months.
Then again, video games are rarely about realism and when officially released, this weather add-on will likely give players the chance to experience new challenges. While the price for the actual expansion was not released, the expansion pass itself will come at $34.99, which has this add-on with another one to be announced at a future date.
It was during the Electronics Entertainment Expo, or E3, held in June of this year when Microsoft presented the third Forza Horizon for its Xbox One. Unlike the previous game, Forza Horizon 3 is set mainly in Australia and when presented, developer Playground Games said that at least 350 models will be made available. Some of the models featured include the standard Lamborghini Centenario and the Ferrari LaFerrari.
Then there are Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z and the Mazdaspeed3. Off-road models are included like the Local Motors Rally Fighter and even the 2017 F-150 Raptor. If that’s not enough, the new game also comes with a few surprises like the flashy 2012 Cadillac Escalade ESV.
For players who want to experience what it feels like to be James Bond then the clear choice is the Aston Martin DB5. Choices will be limited to trucks or cars as one can also select the Polaris RZR XP 1000 EPS side-by-side. Forza Horizon 3 was officially released last September 27.
