Gone Home, an independently developed game that became a hit among PC gamers, is now coming to PlayStation 4! According to the developers, the PlayStation 4 version of Gone Home will be hitting shelves and digital download services beginning January 12 of next year.
One of the developers shared his sentiments about the game, and what the team thinks about the development of the PS4 port of the highly successful indie title that tells the story of one family, and the stuff that they left behind after they went and found their new home.
According to the developers, the PS4 version’s creation was inspired by the emotional and personal connections that the original PC game had with players.
In response to gamer requests to bring Gone Home to other consoles, and out of gratitude for the support that PC gamers gave to the game, the developers sought to bring the unforgettable experience that Gone Home had given to PC gamers to players in other platforms.
The developers claim that the PS4 version has been created with the aim of faithfully bringing the experience that PC gamers enjoyed with Gone Home to the PlayStation audience. They promise to give the PlayStation community the best Gone Home experience when the game becomes available to them on January!
In addition to porting the game for the PS4, the developers promised tons of bonus content. One of these is an hour and a half worth of commentary from the development crew and the cast of talented voice actors and musicians that were involved in bringing Gone Home to life.
The behind-the-scenes content include interviews with Sam Greenbriar’s voice actor Sarah Grayson, score composer Chris Remo, and musician Corin Tucker.
