After seeing spy shots only last year, what we thought was the new Meriva MPV turned out to be something else entirely. Opel welcomes the new Crossland X, its newest addition to the X lineup that also represents the company’s bestselling Mokka X SUV. Placed under the European B-segment, Opel’s latest crossover will be the new replacement to the Meriva model.
For safer and more pleasurable driving experience, the Crossland X is offered with the latest assistance and safety technologies such as Opel’s Side Blind Spot, Speed Sign Recognition, Lane Keep Assist, Driver Drowsiness warning and Automatic Emergency Braking system. Drivers can also make use of its Forward Collision alert with pedestrian detection technology as well as the Advanced Park Assist for better convenience and safety.
Unfortunately, there are no exact details yet about its engine range. What we only know is that the Crossland X will come in different types of engine including gasoline, diesel and LPG as well as a choice between automatic and manual transmissions. But then, further details will surely come out before its official debut this coming March 2017 at the Geneva Motor Show.
