The latest iteration of the Ford Mondeo is all set to push the model’s image as a versatile yet stylish large family car that offers top-notch driving experience and passenger comfort. Raising the bar for the occupants’ comfort and convenience is the new Mondeo's sophisticated interior.
Ford took efforts to completely revise the interior of the new Mondeo by using higher quality trim materials as well as by paying close attention to detail – resulting in a superior and sophisticated cabin. Ford also redesigned the center console and installed new 'toproll' and flush, integrated door release mechanisms on the door panels.
Moreover, Ford installed a new central overhead console that features LED ambient lighting as well as a woven headliner. By employing high quality interior trim materials, Ford managed to enhance the overall feeling of craftsmanship. These materials are complemented with high-class inlay foils, new 'jewel' detailing on switches as well as new vents in satin chrome.
Furthermore, the interior could be made much lighter by employing new interior color schemes. Furthermore, the carmaker is equipping the large family car with an array of new interior elements like LED interior lighting, a new Sat-Nav system, and an improved audio unit. Not only that, Ford is offering a new audio option – the 265-Watts Ford Premium Sound System – that comes with an eight-channel amplifier unit and an all-new speaker system.
The speaker system is specified with a large 17-liter subwoofer located in the luggage compartment and a center mounted on the instrument panel. Interested buyers could avail of the new Ford Mondeo in three body styles -- four-door, five-door and wagon.
Each body style features highlighted kinetic design signatures while all of them are fitted with new technologies like LED lighting. The face of the new Mondeo large family car now features bolder graphics and proportions. It also now has slimmer upper grilles, larger lower trapezoidal, a revised bonnet profile and integral new LED day running lights. On its sides, its sleek lines are highlighted with a new full-chrome window surround (for higher series models). On the rear, the new Mondeo comes with revised and now larger LED tail lamps.
