The street racer named Quant from NLV Solar will make its second appearance at the Geneva Motor Show this year with a concept that has a different guise and without Koenigsegg in its name.
The new NLV Quant concept is intended to be an innovative four-seater electric car. NLV said that it will enter production in the coming years but it has yet to say exactly when.
NLV claims that the Quant is unlike any electric car that has been created, with a design, drive system, range and photovoltaics that is recordbreaking. Clearly, no one can say for sure if this Quant does have all these since no official details have been released.
An Autoblog report says that the Quant will be the first production car built with a four-seat carbon fiber chassis and a body covered front-to-back by a solar film. The car has four electric motors that provide an output of 150 kilowatt (201 hp).
It can be recalled that in 2009, Koenigsegg had decided to distance itself from the Quant project by saying it "is not a Koenigsegg Automotive car and was never intended to be."
For the 2009 project, Koenigsegg had collaborated with NLV with the body, interior design and chassis conceptualization.
