Lancia to launch rebadged 2011 Chrysler 200 in Europe at Geneva Motor Show

According to Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne, Lancia will launch a rebadged version of the 2011 Chrysler 200 sedan in Europe. Set to make its official debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, the new car which might be called Lancia Flavia, will replace the Chrysler Sebring in Europe.

“The new Chrysler 200 will come – cabriolet included – to Europe as a Lancia, and Flavia is a very good hint as its possible name,” Marchionne said on the sidelines of the Detroit Auto Show.

Moreover, Lancia will also unveil its new flagship called the Thema, which will a rebadged version of the 2011 Chrysler 300, which was introduced these days at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show. And, as you may expect it, Chrysler will also introduce a rebadged version of the Chrysler Voyager minivan.

Still, we are curious to see how the market will react to these products. According to our sources, the new Lancia Thema and the rebadged version of the Chrysler Voyager.

The new Flavia will debut in Europe in early 2012. Regarding the 2011 Chrysler 200 Cabriolet, this car will make its debut in February, at the 2011 Chicago Motor Show. [via autonews - sub. required]
