Skoda is introducing two new models of the award-winning Superb - the Superb Outdoor and Superb Outdoor Plus. The Superb Outdoor is making its comeback since the model’s facelift in 2013. Featuring an off-road adventure styling as standard, the Superb Outdoor is based from the SE trim, but boasts of additional specs. It could also be availed with four-wheel-drive transmission for grip and extra reliability.

The model features standard equipment like new front and rear bumpers, wheel arch and side sill extensions, loading sill protection and side body moldings – all in matt grey. The model also boasts of 18-inch ‘Trinity’ anthracite alloys, Hill Hold Control, tire pressure monitor, integrated front headlight washers, heated washer nozzles and sunset glass.

The Skoda Superb Outdoor and Outdoor Plus could be availed with one of two these two gearboxes: the 2.0-litre TDI CR 140PS 4x4 DPF or 2.0-litre TDI CR 170PS 4x4 DSG DPF.

The Superb Outdoor and the Superb Outdoor Plus could be availed with on-the-road prices of £26,995 and £29,235 respectively, representing a £2,000 premium over the SE trim. Customers who want to incorporate further luxury and comfort for their adventures could have their Superb Outdoor Plus fitted with full leather upholstery and an ‘Amundsen’ satellite navigation system with integrated DAB digital radio -- for an additional £1,000.

It is obvious from the very first look: the all-new Superb gives new vitality to the upper end of the mid-size range. The automobile has a fully new front and rear as well as a refreshed cabin. Frank Welsch, Škoda board member for technical development, states that the company’s design team gave the Superb an appealing and customised appearance.

The company's design theme is evident in the attractive components in the best-selling Škoda vehicle. With its clean outlines, accurate quality, and composed proportions, the automobile embraces grace and an impressive charisma. The company entirely reimagined the front all the way up to its A-pillars. The radiator’s grille, vehicle emblem, front head and fog lamps, bumpers, front fender, and hood are completely new.

New Škoda logo has a prominent place at the centre of the hood that slopes slightly down. The fully reconceived front headlamps communicate the distinctly animated personality of the all-new Superb front. Now, for the first time, the Superb has bi-xenon headlamps with combination LED daytime running lights and turn signals.

The back of the automobile also has been fully redesigned. The all-new back end is crisp, smooth, and accurate; all components in its right place. The light shapes have been redesigned; the C-shape of the rear tail lamps illuminates even brighter than ever.

This is the first time that the Škoda Superb has three light strips that combine into the characteristic C-shaped rear lights found in the brand’s design, which comes as standard LEDs. Two new cubist triangular shapes beneath the boot’s lid are added as undeniable components of the new Škoda style - in the sheet metal in the Combi and in the form of the rear tail lamps in the limousine.
