The popular Toyota Prius V has just received a facelift and the new model made its debut at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. As you can see from the photos, the 2015 Prius V arrives with a revised front end consisting of a new front bumper, redesigned grille and optional LED headlights. The rear end shows new taillights as well as a redesigned bumper.
Three new colors are available on the 2015 Prius V: Attitude Black Metallic, Absolutely Red and Toasted Walnut Pearl. At the interior, there is a new Entune Audio system that brings new multimedia capabilities, 8-way power driver’s seat, a 4.2-inch TFT screen, while the Advanced Technology Package was upgraded for the 2015MY.
The updated Advanced Technology Package adds Lane Departure Alert and Automatic High Beams. Under the hood, there is the same 1.8-liter Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine complemented by an electric motor.
The total output delivered by the hybrid system is 134 hp and returns an EPA-estimated 44 mpg city and 40 mpg on the highway.
Just like all Toyota models, the 2015 Prius V gets Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRAC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist.
