The 2016 Cadillac ATS-V Coupe will make its debut later this month at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show, but the new vehicle already showed up on the Web. Comparing with the standard ATS Coupe, the new Cadillac ATS-V Coupe comes with a new front bumper with a smaller front grille as well as a bigger air intake, a new hood that highlights the powerful V6 engine as well as new side sills.
At the rear there is a new rear bumper with integrated air diffuser and an exhaust system with four tailpipes, as well as a new trunk spoiler. Moreover, there is a new set of multispoke wheels painted in black, which hides the high-performance braking system.
There are no details regarding the engine, but we do know that this new vehicle will use a 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that will deliver around 450 hp (335 kW).
The engine delivers the power to the rear wheels via a standard six-speed gearbox or an optional 8-speed automatic transmission.

No corners, no individual welds, no structural weaknesses. This vehicle has a greater feel for the road and is a more agile machine than the brand has ever thought it was capable of achieving. He later applauded his team for their hard work and continuous innovative spirit.
The enhanced durability of the ATS comes with the combination of over a decade of V-Series production experience due to the CTS-V racing program. This knowledge enabled the team at Cadillac to create an ATS with a greater sense of itself and one which was capable of delivering a drive unlike anything customers had felt before.
Roma added that not only has it been able to deliver world-best creativity and innovation, the brand is also responsible for ensuring luxury, comfort, and responsiveness. As it turns out if you wanted to take the ATS-V to the track straight from the showroom there is nothing stopping you.
One of the reasons why the ATS-V has been so highly praised is the inclusion of the Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Carrying a tri-compound tread for enhanced grip, the tires which have been designed especially for the ATS-V are capable of delivering an exceptionally smooth drive and a lengthy vehicular life-span. The wheelbase for the V-Series which measures in at 109.3”, or 2.775m is the same as the main coupe and sedan ATS models, however there is a slight difference in the front and rear grips with a reduction in the necessary body turns which has led to an improved feeling of control when driving.
Magnetic Ride Control and the Performance Traction Management systems return with a new iteration. These newest versions have a number of driver-selectable modes which can be easily set including competition settings, which can aid the stability of the ATS-V and allow for greatr control over the traction control.
The improvements to the Magnetic Ride Control are astonishing and are now capable of reading the road a thousand times every second. This information is transmitted to the magneto-rheological fluid-filled dampers which control all four dampers. The information which is 40% faster than the previous model can easily handle the optimum damping force for every inch of the road and process it at record speed for a smoother ride.
