Fans of the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport should definitely look forward to the vehicle’s 2016 model year. According to details revealed by Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA), the vehicle will have upgraded features and design that build up on the previous models’ already successful designs.
These include a redesign in the front fascia/grille areas of the vehicle. The redesign now implements Mitsubishi’s Dynamic Shield design concept for the front portions of the Outlander Sport.
According to MMNA’s executive vice president Don Swearingen, the 2016 Outlander Sport will continue to build on its reputation of being a reliable crossover SUV (CUV) that delivers good value that its predecessors have made.

The 18-inch wheels made of alloy also implement a new design as well. The 2016 Outlander Sport comes in new color schemes: Cool Silver, Diamond White Pearl and Quartz Brown. The interiors also boast of new features as well.
The steering wheel has been given a facelift, while seats now feature better seat fabrics that ensure higher quality. Buyers can also opt to have the interior done in a new light gray color scheme. In addition, the dashboard comes with a new 6.1-inch Display Audio screen as a standard.
Safety features in the new Outlander Sport include an advanced seven air bag SRS system and Mitsubishi Motors' patented Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) safety cell body construction. Mitsubishi’s excellent warranty remains in force with the 2016 Mitsubishi Mirage.
These are, namely, fully transferable 5-year/60,000 mile new vehicle limited warranty; 10-year/100,000 mile powertrain limited warranty; 7-year/100,000 mile anti-corrosion perforation limited warranty and a 5-year/unlimited mile roadside assistance.
