Nissan will be unveiling an expansion of its Color Studio factory-personalization program at the 2015 LA Los Angeles Auto Show. Just a year ago, Nissan launched the program on the Nissan Juke sport cross. In the coming week, the program will also include the 2016 Versa Note.
Color Studio has allowed Juke owners to personalize their vehicle with exterior and interior accessories. As for the Versa Note Color Studio, Nissan will be making available, albeit individually, 13 exterior and interior accent accessories in six available vibrant colors -- Black, White, Red, Black-Purple, Orange and Carbon Fiber Look.
For instance, a Versa Note in Super Black finish can be personalized with red front lip finisher, door handles, mirror caps, rear hatch accent and rear roof spoiler as well as red-accented 15-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. Moreover, the vehicle can be personalized with red speaker rings, kick plates and air vent rings.
Nissan’s Color Studio accessories are available for all 2016 Versa Note grade levels and for retrofitting on 2014 and 2015 Versa Notes. Available exterior Color Studio accessories for the Versa Note include 15-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, front lip finisher, wheel center caps, side mirror caps (with and without turn signal), door handle covers and rear roof spoiler.
Meanwhile, available interior Color Studio accessories include kick plates, floor mats, air vent rings, rearview mirror interior cover, interior trim appliques, and speaker rings. To make things more appealing, customers can include the cost of the Color Studio accessories to the Versa Note purchase or lease costs.
However, dealers may impose labor charges if the installation of the Color Studio accessories is done at the dealership. Likewise, customers could preview a full version of their personalized Versa Note or Juke Color Studio through Nissan’s special Web site -- NissanUSA.com/VersaNoteColorStudio.
The Web site features a 360-degree view of the Versa Note or Juke with all colors and parts for configuration. Interestingly, the Web site could also be viewed on smartphones and shared on social platforms like Facebook, Pinterest and Google+.
The Web site will go live on November 17. Pierre Loing, vice president for Product Planning at Nissan North America, Inc., expressed excitement at unveiling the expanded Color Studio at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show, noting that color does “change everything."
Loing remarked that the expansion of the Color Studio program to include the Versa Note builds on the success of the Juke Color Studio. He noted that that even a little color dramatically changes the appearance of a vehicle.
