Before its debut at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show, Nissan has announced the pricing (in advance) for its 2017 Versa Note hatchback. Customers in the US can get the entry level variant at $15,480 (Versa Note 1.6 S Plus Xtronic). The Versa Note will be available in four different models. The top of the line will be the 1.6 SL Xtronic with suggested retail price of $18,710. Nissan Versa Note’s other variants are priced at $17,980 for the SR Xtronic and $16,380 for the SV Xtronic.

All models will be equipped with 1.6L DOHC 16V 4cylinder engine and will be paired with the latest Xtronic transmission. The 2017 Versa Note can deliver at least 39mpg EPA-estimated fuel economy on the highway. The next generation X tronic comes with a redeveloped D-step Logic Control for smoother acceleration.

2017 Versa Note SR has the latest sporty equipment both for the exterior and interior. This includes the integrated turn signals for each side mirror, 16-inch machine-finished sport alloy wheels, sporty JUKE-style leather wrapped steering wheel, suede-like seat upholsteries, side sills in body colour, rear spoiler and fog lamps.

Nissan’s top-of-the-line hatchback model (Versa Note SL) will have a wide array of special features. Aside from the 16-inch aluminium alloy wheels, the SL Xtronic will be equipped with heated side view mirrors, heated front seats and the exclusive edition Around View Monitor. It will also come with Voice Recognition for audio and navigation including Travel Link, Traffic (and Sirius XM by subscription). Other equipment includes a 5.8 colour touch screen display with NissanConnectSM Navigation and Mobile Application.

The 2017 model year S-Plus and SV variants come with a new wheel cover design. A set of redesigned 16-inch alloy wheels go with the entry level. For the interiors, the latest Versa Note SL, SR and SV will have the USB Auxiliary ports and the newly added 12-Volt outlet at the centre console. Larger cup holders also come with these new models.

Aside from the new forward-looking front design, all variants will now have the Versa Note SR’s sporty rear. The newly enhanced exterior also includes Nissan’s signature swept back halogen headlamps and “V-Motion” front grille. New colours will also be available such as Deep Blue Pearl and Monarch Orange.

The new Versa Note is expected to be out on sale nationwide this coming 22nd of November at all Nissan dealers. The first public showing is on the 18th-27th November at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show.

Nissan announces U.S. pricing for 2017 Versa Note

Nissan today announced U.S. pricing for the 2017 Nissan Versa Note hatchback, which goes on sale November 22nd at Nissan dealers nationwide. The popular 5-door hatchback model combines with the Versa sedan to be America's best-selling nameplate in the entry-level segment2.

Enhancements to the 2017 Versa Note are highlighted by a dynamic new front end treatment, which accentuates its popular forward-looking style even more with a new front fascia, "V-Motion" grille and swept-back halogen headlights. While now sharing a closer family resemblance with Nissan Sentra, Altima and Maxima, the new design retains the vibrant Versa Note personality, especially when wrapped in a new exterior color – Monarch Orange or Deep Blue Pearl. In addition, Versa Note S Plus, SV and SL grades receive the sporty rear fascia previously available only on Versa Note SR.

Other enhancements for the 2017 model year include a new wheel cover design for S Plus and SV grades and a revised 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheel design for the SL trim level. Inside, the 2017 Versa Note includes a number of customer input-driven changes, such as larger cupholders, the addition of a second 12-volt outlet for SV, SR and SL trims and the relocation of the first 12-volt outlet and USB auxiliary port to the front of the center console.
