K-PAX Racing will return in 2011 to defend its titles with two new Volvo S60s that reflect the car's latest redesign. K-PAX was the World Challenge GT Manufacturers' and Drivers' champion in 2010. The World Challenge is North America's top production car-based racing series.
The new all-wheel-drive Volvo S60s will be unveiled at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah, in late April 2011 for the fourth round of the World Challenge schedule.
Jim Haughey, Team Owner of K-PAX Racing, said that the team will make use of the body style that took it to the 2010 championships.
The 2011 World Challenge season begins with two races in St. Petersburg, Fla., which is the weekend of March 25-27, 2011.
Split into three classes (World Challenge GT, World Challenge GTS, and World Challenge Touring Car), each race boasts a thrilling standing start, adrenaline-filled, door-to-door action and world-class drivers.
World Challenge showcases cars from the world's most popular manufacturers, race-prepped versions of the cars driven on the streets. Regulated by SCCA Pro Racing, World Challenge races at North America's premier road and temporary street courses.

The brand-new S60 range sill includes an option of one petrol and two diesel engines plus a high-performance 3.0 liter T6 petrol 304bhp, a 2.0 liter 163bhp D3 powerplant and a 2.4 liter 205bhp D5.
A DRIVE version power-driven by a 1.6 liter diesel engine that has about 115 g/km CO2 emissions and up to 65.7 mpg fuel savings (shared cycle, opening figure) will be added to the range in the latter months of 2011.
Its C-pillar extends all the way to the tail lamps while the slim coupé -like roof line comes with a fresh contour on its shoulders on both sides of the lower body. This brings about a gentle dual wave in the line, running from the front headlamps to the rear tail lamps.
