Chrysler is updating its Chrysler 300S model by endowing it with sportier and more aggressive styling through its new Exterior and Interior Sport Appearance Packages. Unveiled at the 2016 New York International Auto Show, the 2017 Chrysler 300S with new Exterior and Interior Sport Appearance Packages could be ordered at Chrysler dealerships across the United States this August.
For the 2017 model, the Chrysler 300S will be available with Exterior and Interior Sport Appearance Packages as well as with updated color and materials. Aside from the new Exterior and Interior Sport Appearance Package, Chrysler is now offering a new set of colors and materials for the exterior and interior. These new selections are inspired from areas outside the auto industry, like fashion, architecture and technology.
As expected of the Chrysler brand’s product design office (PDO) team, the interior of the 300S has become a canvass that conveys both sportiness and luxury. For instance, the instrument panel, door panel and instrument cluster bezels now feature new Piano Black interior trim appointments while the door and center console armrests, steering wheel, and the instrument panel brow are highlighted with new Light Gray Diesel colored accent stitching.
Moreover, the new performance seats, which are part of the new Interior Sport Appearance Package, also feature the new Light Gray Diesel colored accent stitching. On the other hand, the color palette for the Chrysler 300S now includes Ceramic Gray, along with Bright White, Billet Silver Metallic, Gloss Black, Granite Crystal Metallic, Jazz Blue Pearl, Maximum Steel Metallic and Redline Red Tri-coat.
Tim Kuniskis, Head of Passenger Car Brands – Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA – North America, remarked that the new 2017 Chrysler 300S “re-excites the passion of what owning an American flagship sedan is about.” He added two new sport appearance packages should take athletic styling and appointments of the 300S to a whole new level.
