Infiniti decided that they would give the 2019 versions of the QX60 and QX80 more style, especially with the introduction of the new Limited edition at the 2018 New York Auto Show. Some of these upgrades would be the eye catching parts on the exterior, and the high quality leather that can be found throughout the cabin.
Infiniti decided to give the QX60 Limited dark chrome bits around its body - from the grille, to the fog lights surrounds, and door moldings. The automaker also gave its roof rack and cross bars some dark paint, while the lower portion of the rear bumper is gloss black. The Limited model has been given a set of 20 inch multi spoke wheels too. That’s all the new things it gets on the outside.
As for the interior, the company installs Stone coloured, semi aniline leather seats that are contrasted with the stitching. This also extends to the door panels. The upholstery is then accented with dark silver wood trim as well as a black headliner. Under the hood, the QX60 Limited remains with the same 3.5 liter V6 that has an output of 296 horsepower (220 kilowatts) and 270 pound-feet of torque.
As for the QX80 Limited, Infiniti gave it a different set of upgrades. For instance, the automaker decided to give it an Anthracite Gray exterior finish, which the QX60 and other models, are not getting. Its body also highlights satin chrome trim, which stretch to the roof rails and lower portions of the bumpers. Some additional upgrades also include stainless steel running boards, and the QX80 now gets to sit on a set of 22-inch wheels.
In the cabin, Infiniti decided to dress the big SUV in a two-tone, semi aniline leather and Alcantara. There will then be an open pore ash wood that decorates the cabin, and there’s also a black Ultrasuede headliner. The door handles are then finished in Satin chrome. As for the powertrain, the QX80 Limited then gets a 5.6 liter V8 engine that produces 400 horsepower (298 kilowatt), just like the rest of the lineup.
For those of you who would like to get one of the two models, the QX60 Limited will be available in dealerships as early as spring, while the QX80 Limited will follow this summer. As for pricing, we are still waiting for the automaker to give us the figures.
Prior to the sales date, both these models will debut at the 2018 New York international Auto Show by the end of this month until April 8 at the Javits Center. Who amongst you are planning to cop one of these limited edition models when they become available in the market?
