Facelifted Audi A6 family shown at 2014 Paris Motor Show [Live Photos]

Back in September, Audi unveiled at the facelift A6 family and as expected, the German manufacturer brought its entire new lineup at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. Changes are obvious and include an updated Singleframe grille, headlights, air inlets, bumpers, side sills, taillights and tailpipes. As an option, the vehicles are available with headlights that offer LED technology or Matrix LED technology.

The interior includes MMI radio operating system and deluxe automatic air conditioning as standard, while front seats are available as an option with ventilation and massage function. A6 Avant models get an optional sensor-controlled automatic tailgate combined with a power luggage compartment cover.

The top-of-the-line navigation system arrives with a power-retractable 8-inch monitor based on a new technology platform that uses the Tetra 30 graphics chip from Nvidia. Engine lineup includes three TFSI petrol units ranging between 190 hp (140 kW) and 333 hp (245 kW).

Moreover, five TDI diesel engines will be available, ranging from 150 hp (110 kW) to 326 hp (240 kW). The 3.0-liter TDI clean diesel engine is available with either 218 hp (160 kW) and 272 hp (200 kW), while the biturbo version produces 320 hp (235 kW).

The high-performance diesel engine is offered with a new 8-speed tiptronic automatic transmission. The other engines can be bolted to a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed S tronic.

The A6 Allroad Quattro will be offered with a choice of four 3.0-liter V6 engines, a 3.0 TFSI and three version of the 3.0 TDI. The S6 and S6 Avant high-performance models get a 4.0-liter TFSI biturbo V8 producing 450 hp (331 hp).

Meanwhile, the RS6 Avant arrives with the same 4.0-liter TFSI biturbo V8 that generates 560 hp (412 kW). Deliveries of the new A6 family will being in fall 2014 in Germany, and pricing will start at 38,400 euros for the A6 Sedan quipped with the 1.8 TFSI petrol engine.

The A6 Avant 1.8 TFSI is priced at 40,900, while the A6 Allroad Quattro costs 56,650. The S6 is priced at 75,400 euros while the RS6 Avant costs 108,900 euros.
