Article by Christian A., on September 15, 2014

Toyota officially revealed today the first teaser of the C-HR Concept, its new vehicle that will be introduced next month at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. According to the Japanese carmaker, the C-HR Concept promises to combine a new design language with an engaging driving experience and a hybrid powertrain.

No other details are available but we suspect that the new vehicle previews the upcoming Auris Cross a.k.a. a crossover version of the popular Auris.

According to previous reports, the Auris Cross is expected to be powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder petrol engine producing 130 hp but Toyota will also offer a hybrid version that will use the 1.8-liter Atkinson cycle petrol engine found on the Auris Hybrid.

In addition, the Auris Cross will be offered as standard with front-wheel-drive but as an option, the vehicle will get an all-wheel-drive system in order to take you almost anywhere. More details to be revealed!
