Hyundai has released teasers for the cars that it will bring to the SEMA Show this year in Las Vegas. Famous tuner John Pangilinan worked on a Hyundai Genesis Coupe to create the latest custom product from the brand. Hyundai will be unveiling three other concepts at the show. Pangilinan has done other concepts for Hyundai in the past also for the SEMA Show.
This time, he uses his signature custom paint for the exterior of the Genesis Coupe JP Edition. The tuning firm refers to this color as Atlantic Blue, which is dark matte blue with a bit of a metallic characteristic to it. The other exterior revisions include wide-body metal fender flares, custom graphics, carbon fiber side skirts and a rear lip from Seibon, an APR carbon fiber front splitter, and custom V-LED headlights.
To boost its performance, Pangilinan chose to apply entry-level revisions for cost-effective power gains and put in an AEM cold air intake and ARK Performance exhaust with “turbo” downpipe. The Genesis Coupe is built on KW Variant 3 coil-overs and a set of 19-inch mystic black MORR VS52 mono-forged wheels covered in 275/30 ZR19- and 315/25 ZR19-size Toyo Proxes T1R tires front and rear, respectively.
