Chrysler unveiled at the 2013 SEMA Show the new 2014 Dodge Challenger R/T Shaker. This new model will be easily recognizable due to the legendary “colad-air grabbing” Shaker that sits on the Satin Black center-mounted hood scoop and directs the air into the HEMI V8 engine. Inspired by the 1970 Challenger R/T with the Shaker hood, the 2014 model promises to continue the Dodge tradition.
Under the hood, there is a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine that produces over 400 lb.-ft. of torque, with a functional Shaker hood with Mopar cold-air intake, conical air filter and optimized air box for improved airflow and performance. Under the hood, there is also a “Shaker” badge, reminiscent of the 1970s original.
In addition, the 2014 Challenger R/T Shaker includes the Super Track Pak, with high-performance steering gear, brake linings and monotube shock absorbers, P245/45R20 Goodyear Eagle F1 Super Car three-season tires and three-mode electronic stability control (ESC) with “full off” mode. Moreover, we find the performance-tuned suspension, four-wheel disc brakes and steering calibration.
In terms of design, we find the new “Shaker style” Satin Black hood, roof and deck-lid stripe graphics, a Satin Black deck-lid spoiler, a body-color grille surround, Gloss Black fuel-filler door and polished-face aluminum wheels with black pockets and a satin “matte” clear coat. “Shaker” badges are found on both sides of the hood scoop.
Inside, the Challenger R/T Shaker features a three-spoke flat-bottom leather-wrapped performance steering wheel with black accent finish, a unique “K-Black” painted instrument panel and center-console bezel for a discrete look, a “Shaker” numbered dash plaque, front seats in premium Nappa leather in Dark Slate Gray with Sepia accent stitching or Radar Red with Radar Red stitching.
The interior also comes with an aluminum pistol-grip shifter mated to a track-proven Tremec six-speed manual transmission or black leather-wrapped shift-knob and die-cast paddle shifters on the back of the steering wheel for those who opt for the five-speed automatic gearbox.

The new Challenger R/T Shaker is available in these colours: Billet Silver Metallic, Bright White, Pitch Black, Plum Crazy, TorRed and vibrant Header Orange.
On the interior, the all-new Dodge Challenger R/T Shaker highlights an exclusive three-spoke flat-bottom leather-wrapped performance steering wheel with black accent finish and incorporated car controls. Corresponding with the steering wheel is an exclusive "K-Black" painted instrument board and center-console bezel for a discreet look. In parallel with the "Shaker" numbered dash plaque are door bolsters with graduated accent stitching that reflects the logo's artistic resonance.
High-performance front seats with audacious bolsters in elite Nappa Leather in Dark Slate Gray with Sepia accent stitching or Radar Red with Radar Red stitching, include the "Shaker" logo weaved on the back seat, along with one-of-a-kind graduated horizontal plow-throughs. For added detail, the center console armrest is likewise leather wrapped and finished with accent thread. The aluminum pistol-grip shifter mated to a track-tested Tremec six-speed manual transmission is standard, while a black leather-wrapped shit-knob die-cast paddle shifters on the back of the steering wheel are accessible for the individuals who choose the performance-tuned five-speed automatic.
