Article by Christian A., on November 4, 2014

The first Mustang RTR was introduced back in 2009 and since then, this high-performance model became one of the most popular on the market. As you may know already, Ford introduced its all-new 2015 Mustang and RTR wanted to raise the bar in the aftermarket world with their new version of the well-known pony car.

The 2015 Mustang RTR will be available in January 2015 through select Ford dealers worldwide with an optional Spec 1 package as well as a Spec 2 package. RTR will offer the 2015 Mustang with the 2.3-liter EcoBoost, V6 and 5.0 drivertrains, with up to 725 hp.

In addition, the 2015 Mustang RTR will receive a brand new line of appearance and performance parts, as well as three versions of the RTR wheels, available at americanmuscle.com.

The appearance upgrades available on Spec 1 and Spec 2 packages include the RTR Spec 1 and Spec 2 chin spoiler, an RTR rear spoiler and rear diffuser with side splitters, RTR rocker splitters, the RTR upper grill with integrated lightning and RTR lower grill.

Other performance upgrades available for the Spec 2 package are adjustable dampers, adjustable sway bars, lowering springs, RTR exclusive exhaust system by Magnaflow, RTR custom tuning, an optional supercharger and RTR cold air intake system.
