TJIN Edition RoadShow has worked on its first official Hyundai vehicle for the 2015 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. This new built is based on the Hyundai Genesis Coupe and is dubbed as the Tjin Edition Hyundai Genesis.
At the core of the Tjin Edition Hyundai Genesis is the South Korean carmaker’s 3.8-liter Lambda V6 engine made more powerful by a Vortech supercharger kit (Vortech V3 Supercharger) supplied and tuned Bisimoto Engineering.
Tjin also gave this Lambda V6 engine with additional elements like Vortech front mount intercooler, a free-flowing Bisimoto exhaust system and Vortech blow-off valve. Rounding off the powertrain modifications for the Lambda V6 engine of the Tjin Edition Hyundai Genesis is an Optima battery. All of these upgrades leveled up the total output of the Lambda V6 engine from just 311 hp to more than 500 hp.
Of course, this insane amount of running potential of the Tjin Edition Hyundai Genesis needs to be matched with superb stopping power, which is provided by custom Baer x CBA Extreme Plus brake calipers mounted both on the front and rear wheels. These brake calipers are complemented by Baer Performance Brake Pads, Baer 14-inch Cross-Drilled Rotors and Baer Steel Brake Lines, as well as by Downstar Bolts and Lug Nuts.
The SEMA-bound Tjin Edition Hyundai Genesis rides on Rotiform 19-inch three-piece HUR wheels shod with Falklen Azenis FK345 tires.
Finished in Kylie Tjin Axalta green paint, the Tjin Edition Hyundai Genesis now sits lower on KW coilovers, thereby giving the SEMA vehicle a more assertive stance. Moreover, the SEMA vehicle also features a custom front lip, custom trunk lid and rear spoiler from Unique Fabrication. It also features headlights from LightWurkz as well as LED lighting from Safety 1st.
The interior of Tjin Edition Hyundai Genesis, meanwhile, is finished in CT-inspired Alea leather. Its passengers are protected by a roll cage from Unique Fabrication.
Neil Tjin, president of TJIN Edition RoadShow, described the resulting vehicle as a “perfect mix of speed and style.”
According to Tjin, the Tjin Edition Hyundai Genesis will surely attract attention at the SEMA show thanks to the exterior, interior and performance upgrades it had received. The Tjin Edition Hyundai Genesis will be unveiled at Hyundai’s SEMA press conference on Nov. 3 at 11:30 a.m. PT.
The Hyundai Genesis is now in its second generation (DH designation). It was first unveiled in Seoul, Korea in November 2013, and was displayed at the 2014 North American International Auto Show.
