Chevrolet to display personalized 2014 Impala at the 2012 SEMA Show

Article by Anita Panait, on October 26, 2012

Chevrolet will be displaying a personalized vision of its flagship full-size sedan, the 2014 Chevrolet Impala at the incoming Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. The personalized vision of the redesigned Impala will be featuring a red exterior and a black leather interior as well as Black Ice-tinted chrome accents, refinished exterior trim and refinished 20-inch wheels.

Chevrolet will be rolling out the Impala early 2013 as the 10th generation of one of the industry’s most popular nameplates. The 2014 Chevrolet Impala will be sporting an all-new exterior design with a sleek proportion, sculpted body sides and active grille shutters. It is fitted with standard 18-inch wheels and projector-beam headlamps – high-intensity discharge headlamps and LED daytime running lamps standard on LTZ models.

The 2014 Impala dons an all-new interior with flowing design as well as an integrated center stack that incorporates an available eight-inch touch screen display with Chevrolet MyLink. The sedan also boasts of having more front and rear legroom as well as generous storage compartments. A customer could choose between three available powertrains.

2014 Impala ensures quieter and more comfortable environment, thanks to some features like the active noise cancelation with four-cylinder powertrains.

The full-size sedan also boasts of providing passengers with a number of active safety features like 10 standard airbags and OnStar, full-speed-range adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation braking, forward collision alert, lane departure warning, side blind zone alert, rear cross traffic alert, rear camera and rear-park assist. In 2011, the Impala was among the top 10 best-selling vehicles in the United States and was the best-selling sedan in the country with sales of over 171,000 units.

Chevrolet entirely restructured the 2014 Impala. The classic flagship sedan now has an eye-catching design, spacious interior and developed technologies never before offered in an Impala.

The new model is transformed entirely. It has been given muscular styling features that pay respect to its previous models while taking on Chevy’s contemporary design. It belongs to the 10th generation of the models that are among the industry’s most persistent and well-known nameplates. Since 2014, the model has been America’s best-selling full-sized sedan. In 2012, it earned profits from more than 169,000 units.

Faithful to its tradition, the 2014 Impala provides cutting-edge technologies at an affordable price. It integrates 10 standard air bags along with a number of safety technologies.

Among these technologies are collision mitigation braking, frontward collision alert, full-speed-range adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, rear cross traffic alert, side blind zone alert, rear camera and rear-park assist.

Chevrolet marketing vice president, Chris Perry, said that the class has a legacy of advancing the segment with daring styles, new technologies and superior features not usually available at its price rate. The model’s blend of capabilities, fine-tuning, and combination of information and entertainment options and driving assurance will change the standard in its segment and support its place as the flagship sedan of Chevrolet.
