Galpin Auto Sports will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Ford Mustang in style and will unveil a special version of the pony car at the 2014 SEMA Show. According to the official press release, the Galpin Auto Sports also known as GAS, prepared a special 2015 Mustang featuring a golden theme.

The vehicle features new headlights that integrate LED signals, a carbon fiber front splitter, new side sills as well as a new and more aggressive rear air diffuser.

Under the hood, the 5.0-liter Coyote V8 received a Whipple supercharger. What’s more interesting is that the hood features a glass window in order to give us a proper view of the engine. If you are still not impressed, then the 725 hp delivered by the V8 engine will make you think twice.

In addition, there are new suspension components from Steeda as well as a new exhaust from Magnaflow. The exterior design is completed by the 20-inch wheels finished in gold, just like the side sills, brake calipers and badging.

Inside, the Recaro seats are finished in black and gold, while the headliner is black microsuede. “We like the black and gold idea, and really wanted to get the color as close to 24-carat gold as possible,” said Brandon Boeckmann, GAS operations manager.

And by the way, the colour of the vehicle may appear black but if you take a closer look you will see the gold metallic flakes.
