The new and improved Lexus GS features a well sculpted exterior that blends a unique style with a mechanized efficiency, marking Lexus’ new generation of design philosophy. This new design language extends to the car’s small details including the fins which are incorporated at the edges of the tail lamps as well as to the boot area design which all contribute to a direct air past and over the car.
It also features the trademark spindle grille accented with trapezoidal lines integrated to the car’s hard-line front bumper in order to allow efficient airflow. This distinct design feature is combined with a deep set of high technology headlamps and LED L-shaped daytime running lamps which all convey a dynamic and confident character. Its headlamps have a projector beam design which contributes to the car’s fine and powerful appearance and provides an excellent illumination as well.
Looking from its side, the GS conveys a car of spacious performance and roadworthy stance. Its lower door ledges, which are narrowed, and its shortened front overhang offer a sense of movement to the vehicle while its wheel arches which are width-enhancing provide a sporty look which conveys the dynamic capabilities of the vehicle. The bumper at the back is also equipped with a set of midpoint aero fins and a diffuser to help restrict the underbody airflow. These features of the rear bumper offers more than just an improved appearance as it is also better-performing as well alongside the LED L-shaped tail lamps.
The paint technology has also been developed in order to reveal the subtle bodylines and make the surface look well-polished. The coating is also integrated with glass flakes that benefit new colors and adds a new level of radiance to the car’s paint. A new and improved coating technology has also been developed by the Lexus engineers to give radiance to the paint by adding a metallic texture to it and providing it with strong shading as well as sharp and well-defined highlights.
