A sportier and more dynamic customized version of the 2016 Tesla Model X is expected to be one of the standouts at the upcoming 2016 Specialty Equipment Market Association show slated from November 1 to 4, 2016.

Wrapped in vivid orange exterior color, the modified Tesla Model X is essentially a P90D Ludicrous model featuring an aerodynamics package from Unplugged Performance and a carbon fiber adjustable rear wing. The front end of this modified Tesla Model X comes with an extended front bumper that is lowered closer to the ground. Likewise, the body kit for the SEMA-bound Tesla Model X P90D Ludicrous features a set of reshaped air intakes and custom fog light clusters. Moreover, this modified version of the Tesla Model X P90D Ludicrous comes with flared front and rear wheel arches as well as new side skirts.

In addition, the modified SEMA-bound Tesla Model X P90D Ludicrous is provided with a sports suspension kit from Unplugged Performance. Stopping power comes courtesy of Unplugged Performance x Brembo carbon ceramic six-piston brakes. The electric vehicle’s UP-02 Ultra Light forged wheels – also from Unplugged Performance – is wrapped in a set of 285/35R22 Toyo Proxes ST II tires.

Visitors at the 2016 SEMA Show could take a closer look at this Unplugged Performance Tesla Model X P90D Ludicrous at Toyo Tires’ Main Display in Booth Number 43115 on the first floor the South Hall. Toyo Tires’ Main Display allows visitors to review products and two other exotic vehicles on display – the Diety Motorsports X IDL Design Wide Body McLaren and the IDL Design Porsche 997 C2S.

The Diety Motorsports X IDL Design Wide Body McLaren is based on 2014 McLaren MP4-12C and is fitted with Liberty Walk wide body kit, GT Haus exhaust Air Lift Performance Suspension and Rotiform QLB wheels wrapped in 235/35ZR19 and 305/30ZR20 Toyo Proxes T1R tires.

Meanwhile, the IDL Design Porsche 997 C2S is based on a 2008 Porsche 997 as designed by Kei Miura. It features Motorsport Cup mirrors, ‘Cup’ quarter glass, a carbon fiber roof, Air Lift Performance Suspension and 19-inch Rotiform LSR wheels wrapped in 265/30ZR19 and 305/30ZR19 Toyo Proxes R888R tires.

At Toyo Tires’ Outdoor Display at the 2016 SEMA Show, the tire maker will showcase Ken Block’s famous ‘Hoonicorn V2’ Ford Mustang, as well as videos like the Climbkhana trailer.

Tesla is claiming that its new Tesla Model X is the safest and fastest, as well as the most capable SUV that could accommodate up to seven adult occupants and their cargo. Its P100D all-wheel-drive version is specified with a 100 kWh battery pack that allows it to travel up to 289 miles before needing to recharge. This 100 kWh battery pack also allows the Model X to sprint from nil to 60 miles per hour in around 2.9 seconds.
