2015 Range Rover Sport by Caractere Exclusive

Article by Christian A., on January 5, 2015

In our opinion, the 2015 Range Rover Sport is already attractive but if you consider the opposite, Caractere Exclusive is the answer to your request. As you can see from the photos, the new tuning kit from Caractere Exclusive consists of a new front bumper with big air intakes and integrated LED daytime running lights as well as front and rear fender flares.

At the rear, there is a new roof spoiler, a new air diffuser, while the final touch is completed by the trapezoidal exhaust tips. In addition, Caractere Exclusive offers a new set of 22-inch wheels wrapped in high-performance tires, which improve the looks of the vehicle.

There are no details regarding any engine improvements, but we do know that the 2015 Range Rover Sport is offered with a 4.4-liter SDV8 diesel engine that generates 339 hp and 740 Nm of torque.

Bolted to the ZF 8HP70 8-speed automatic transmission, the Range Rover Sport is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.9 seconds, while top speed is 229 km/h or 142.2 mph.

Land Rover also offers a 3.0-liter diesel engine, that produces 292 hp and 600 Nm of torque, bolted to the same 8-speed automatic transmission. This engine pushes the vehicle from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 7.2 seconds, with a top speed limited at 130 mph or almost 210 km/h.

Petrol fans can choose the 3.0-liter V6 supercharged engine with 340 hp and 450 Nm of torque. Using this engine, the Range Rover Sport accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 7.2 seconds, with a top speed limited at 130 mph or 210 km/h.

If you are looking for a bigger engine, the 5.0-liter V8 supercharged petrol is the one for you. This engine produces 510 hp and 625 Nm of torque. This model zooms from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.3 seconds, while top speed 250 km/h (155 mph) (opt).
