AC Schnitzer ACS4 based on BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe (F36)

AC Schnitzer, the well-known German tuning company, decided that the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe needs some upgrades and decided to enhance the new four-door coupe. As a result, the new vehicle received a new front spoiler, a rear air diffuser, a chromed front grille (for vehicles equipped with the M Sport Package), rear skirt protective film and new carbon fiber mirror covers.

In addition, the ACS4 Gran Coupe a new suspension system which lowers the vehicle by 10-25 mm at the front and 5-15 mm at the rear. Meanwhile, the AC Schnitzer suspension spring kit lowers the car by up to 25 mm at the front and between 10-25 mm at the rear.

The AC Schnitzer racing suspension is adjustable in compression as well as rebound stages and can bring the car up to 40 mm closer to the ground. AC Schnitzer offers a choice of four different alloy wheels designs such as Type VIII forged alloys in BiColor, Type VIII rims in BiColor (black/silver/anthracite), Type IV wheels in silver or BiColor and Type IV rims in BiColor black.

When it comes to performances, the 428i Gran Coupe powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, arrives with 294 hp (216 kW), up from 245 hp (180 kW).

The 435i Gran Coupe, which uses a 3.0-liter engine that produces 306 hp (225 kW) in standard form, was boosted to 360 hp (265 kW). The 420d arrives as standard with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel engine that generates 184 hp (135 kW) but thanks to AC Schnitzer, the engine was boosted to 218 hp (160 kW).

The 3.0-liter diesel engine found on the 430d Gran Coupe was boosted from 250 hp (190 kW) to 309 hp (227 kW), while on the 435d Gran Coupe was boosted from 313 hp to 360 hp (265 kW).
