The idea of a coupe version of the Range Rover Sport is not new as we already seen the Tiret Coupe or the one created by LSE Design. Still, there was no version of the new generation Range Rover Sport… until today, when AJP Design revealed their first photos with their Range Rover RS Sport Coupe.
Set to make its debut later this month, the new vehicle promises to offer a bespoke interior, new wheel design as well as an improved exhaust system that will deliver a proper sound of the engine. And speaking about the engine, the vehicle will arrive with the 5.0-liter supercharged V8 petrol engine that generates 510 hp, but also with the popular 3.0-liter SDV6 diesel that produces 258 hp.
Although there are no words about such a version, we’d love to see a Range Rover Sport SVR Coupe. This new model arrived last month and it is the most powerful version of the Range Rover Sport, built by the Special Operation Division.
The high-performance version of the Range Rover Sport uses a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine that pumps out 550 hp and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque. The engine pushes the Range Rover Sport SVR from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.7 seconds (0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds), while top speed is limited at 260 km/h or 162 mph.
We are not quite sure we will see the a coupe version of the Range Rover Sport SVR, but if you want your own AJP Design Range Rover RS Sport Coupe get ready to visit selected dealerships in December 2014.
