ASI Invader based on the Lexus LX 570

The Japanese tuning company, ASI, has created a program for the Lexus LX 570 SUV that targets both styling and performance. The complete modification pack is named the Asi LX 570 INVADER.

Asi worked on the 5.7 liter V8 engine, to raise its power from 383 hp to 600 hp, enabling the full-size SUV to go from zero to 62 mph sprint in less than five seconds. The stock vehicle can accelerate to this speed in 7.4 seconds.

Asi has yet to disclose what the new top speed of the SUV is but it's likely to be much quicker than the stock vehicle's 137 mph.

The car's exterior was given a new front fascia, which consists of a redesigned front grille that carries the "INVADER" name and a new bumper that comes with large air intakes, quadruple fog lights, two carbon-finish elements and LED daytime running lights, which still use the original layout.

At the sides, we see a set of fresh side skirts that have a bold design and a two-tone finish, matching the design of the front bumper. The car also features full leather upholstery and some other elements that come in a red finish.

Furthermore, the SUV rides on a set of bespoke rims, which have a glossy black finish. The car comes in a special white color. This tuning package from Asi comes in a good time as there aren't many modification options available for the premium SUV.

New generation Lexus LX 570 eight-seater has been renewed with a new signature spindle grille, new style 20-inch alloy wheels and a refined interior to maintain its combination of rugged off-road capability, practicality and luxury.

The new LX 570 has been facelifted at the front and modified at the rear. The new-style headlamps have new LED daytime running lights and new fog lamps with bigger bezels. Style modifications have also been applied for the taillights and rear license plate surround, while the tow hitch cover is now more assimilated. The front and rear fenders are both revised, with the latter’s bumper protector now having stainless steel detailing.

The wing mirrors now have auxiliary direction indicators, while the new body sides have been moulded wider.

LX 570’s roomy, eight-seat cabin has been enhanced with new features. The new Easy Access driver’s seat facilitates easier vehicle entry and exit, and it retracts automatically along with the steering wheel when the ignition is switched off. Cooling for the new front seats has been improved, while a 120-volt power outlet is now present in the middle row. A new coloured screen has been added to the upgraded instrument panel. The centre instrument cluster and front side air vents feature a new dark chrome finish, while the glove box now has chrome accents above. These details give the instrument panel a new, brighter look.

Mahogany wood trimmings have also been added to the LX 570’s interior, while the leather trim colour has been changed to Parchment from the previous Cashmere. Externally, the new Medium Nebula Grey Pearl and Satin Cashmere Metallic body colours replace the older Twilight Grey Metallic and Golden Almond Metallic colours.

Powertrain and Performance

Lexus LX 570 is propelled by a 5.7-liter V8 that provides proper towing power and overall performance. It produces 383 horsepower at 5,600 rpm with peak torque of 403 lb.-ft. at 3,600 rpm. For vehicle-towing LX owners, 90 percent of peak torque is available with only 2,200 rpm.

The new LX 570’s electronic six-speed automatic transmission is capable of assessing road conditions and anticipating the driver’s action to shift to the correct gear ratio with respect to speed and driving circumstances. Manual gear selection is also possible through a sequential shift mode. Overall, transmission is smooth and indiscernible even when travelling slowly, i.e. trail driving.
