The Audi RS4 Avant was introduced in 2012, carrying a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated 4.2-liter V8 engine that produces 444 hp. The engine is capable to push the vehicle from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.7 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited at 250 km/h or 155 mph. As usual, tuning companies push the vehicles even further and now, B&B decided to take a closer look as the RS4 Avant.
So, if you want more, B&B offers the Stage 1, which brings to vehicle to 470 hp as well as 450 Nm of torque and a top speed of 280 km/h or 174 mph. Stage 1 is priced at 1,950 euros. Stage 2 costs 2,950 euros and boosts the output to 480 hp and 458 Nm of torque, while top speed is increased to 280 km/h or 174 mph.
Stage 3 is priced at 6,500 euros and upgrades the V8 engine to 492 hp and 465 Nm of torque, with a maximum speed limited at 280 km/h or 174 mph. Stage 4 costs an impressive 11,950 euros, brings 503 hp and a maximum torque of 475 Nm and a top speed limited at 280 km/h or 174 mph.
Still not enough? Well, for 29,950 euros the engine is boosted to 625 hp and 600 Nm of torque, while top speed is increased at 325 km/h or 202 mph. Moreover, B&B offers a new suspension kit that brings the vehicle 25 mm closer to the ground as well as 20-inch wheels.
Even at a glimpse, the high-performance nature of the Audi RS4 Avant is much more apparent, thanks to its elegant exterior design as accentuated by sharp details. Compared to the A4 Avant, the RS4 Avant is longer by 20 mm or 0.79 inches, wider by 24 mm or 0.94 in., and lower by 20 mm or 0.79 in. This is because the RS4 Avant features dimensions of 4,719 mm (15.48 ft.) in length, 1,850 mm (6.07 ft.) in width and 1,416 mm (4.65 ft.) in height.
New Audi RS4 Avant features a front end marked by a hexagonal single-frame grille set in a matt aluminum-look finished frame. This grille features a high-gloss anthracite-finished honeycomb insert adorned with an RS4 badge. The grille is flanked by wedge-shaped xenon plus headlights -- with a wavy bottom section – as seemingly clasped by LED daytime running lights.
The front end of the RS4 Avant also features large air inlets covered with honeycomb grilles and as separated by angled struts and. These large air inlets are integrated into a contoured bumper tapering into a splitter edge, with the central aperture divided into three small openings.
When viewed from the sides, the new Audi RS4 Avant reveals chiseled side sill caps as well as flared wheel wells. These flared side elements as well as the horizontal upper edges are homage to the Audi quattro all-wheel drive. Both the side mirror housings and trim strips feature a matt aluminum-look finish. The new RS4 Avant also sport an extended roof spoiler -- with a recessed center segment – that help generate more downforce on the rear axle.
On the well-sculpted rear end, the new Audi RS4 Avant is marked by a prominent bumper and the RS4 badge. The upward-extended rear diffuser comes with two integrated large, elliptical tailpipes of the dual exhaust system, while its upper section dons is a honeycomb insert. Once the optional matt aluminum styling package is picked, the diffuser is separated from the body by an aluminum-look contour above the insert. The sporty elegance of the rear end is completed by standard LED rear lights.
