BMW M4 Coupe deliveries already started to reach their customers, which means that the tuning companies are actually quite busy on updating the new German coupe. After we saw the Liberty Walk M4 Coupe and the new exhaust system developed by Akrapovic, it’s time to take a look at a new set of wheels built by ADV.1.
The new 20-inch ADV.1MV1 CS wheels feature a 5-double-spoke design as well as a stylish bronze finish. Despite the wheels are bigger than the standard wheels offered by BMW, the new ADV.1 wheels are lighter and bring a fresh design to the car.
As you can see from the photos, the BMW M4 Coupe wears a Yas Marina Blue colour, which is also found on the side reflectors, brake calipers and grills. In addition, Tag Motorsports also lowered the German coupe.
There are no words about an engine upgrade, which means we will find the standard 3.0-liter high-revving six-cylinder in-line engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology that delivers a maximum output of 431 hp and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque.
M4 Coupe accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.1 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited at 250 km/h or 155 mph. With the M Driver’s Package, top speed is increased at 280 km/h or 174 mph.
The superb performance potential and impressive handling properties of the new BMW M3 Sedan and new BMW M4 Coupe are properly conveyed by their design. As remarked by Karim Habib, Head of Design BMW Automobiles, the superior performance of the both BMW M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe should be apparent at first glance.
Thus, these two M models come with a visual impactful exterior design that takes the BMW M design language to a new level of expression, as accentuated by its purposeful nature, dynamic energy and emotional appeal.
On the front end, both the BMW M3 Sedan and BMW M4 Coupe are marked by powerful contours and their three-dimensional nature. As BMW M creations, the new M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe are laden with certain characteristic design elements like the contemporary take on the twin headlight, which can be specified with optional LED technology. These headlamps flanked the highly distinctive twin-bar kidney grille with black grille bars, a design that mirrors that of the BMW M double-spoke wheels. Further M design cues include the dynamic front apron with three large intakes that direct air to cool the high-performance engine and brakes, as well as the characteristic power dome on the bonnet that indicate how powerful its M TwinPower Turbo mill is. The new exterior mirrors -- featuring twin-stalk mounts – are designed to optimize the aerodynamics of the two new M models.
In addition, the dynamic impressions of the front ends of the BMW M3 Sedan and BMW M4 Coupe are extended to their sides. When viewed from the sides, the new BMW M3 Sedan and BMW M4 Coupe reveal a long bonnet, set-back glasshouse, long wheelbase and short front overhang – all which are further emphasized by familiar M design elements. According to Habid, the muscular wheel arches and striking surface forms help highlight the dynamic potential of both the BMW M3 and BMW M4.
