Hennessey has just the thing for you if you have the need for speed but are on a limited budget. Hennessey is now offering more options for you aside from the Vipers, CTS-Vs and Raptors, and the Venom GT. Hennessey has given additional power to the Ford Taurus SHO. Not a lot can be done about the weight, except for a jettisoning of the back seat much like Car Craft, some door panels and other “unnecessary” ballast.
However, turbocharged engines can be easily tuned so Hennessey worked on the Ford Taurus SHO and gave it a boost from 365 to 445, while its torque rose from 350 to 405 in its MaxBoost 445 transformation. As a result, its performance improved from good to excellent, placing the MaxBoost Taurus in the same level as the contemporary BMW 550i.
It’s also faster than iconic models like the 1991 Porsche 911 Turbo, 1990 Lamborghini Diablo, and the 1996 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport. Hennessey has released a video that shows off its previous work done on a Lincoln MKS.
So if you want a MaxBoost package, there are several packages available for the Lincoln MKT, MKS, and the Ford Flex and Explorer as the transverse 3.5 EcoBoost is now available. The MaxBoost 445 package costs $4495. But for that price, the driver feels the excitement of getting 80 hp and 55 lb-ft of torque power from the vehicle.

One innovative feature that enthusiasts will surely love is the torque vectoring control.
In addition to being able to experience the dynamics benefit, customers are likely to be happy to know that this will be included as standard. Typically seen in high-ticket sports cars, the torque vectoring control will be exclusive to the Taurus. What this feature offers is that when the vehicle is accelerating and going through a corner, a small amount of braking force is applied to the outside front wheel.
While the brake force is indeed minimal, the effect is the same as what one would get from a limited-slip differential. Thus, the new Taurus gives a more maneuverable feel to it, in addition to also feeling small. More control is also offered when going quickly through curves. As such, this feature can help build confidence especially for less seasoned drivers.
