Kahn introduces the RS250 Evoque Vesuvius Edition

Article by Christian A., on December 11, 2012

Kahn Design is offering a custom package for the Range Rover Evoque, which it has dubbed as the RS250 Vesuvius Edition. With a moniker inspired by the famous volcano in Italy, this model is targeted at customers who want to stand out and make a statement.

The model inspired by this volcano, which had its last eruption in 1944, has a color that is reminiscent of liquid-hot magma. Kahn’s latest rendition of the Evoque uses matte black to contrast with the color and texture used on the grille, side vents, and center section of the front bumper.

The other parts of the car, such as the roof, hood stripe, grille accent vents, brake calipers, come with a copper or Vesuvius Orange finish. This model rides on 22-inch wheels. The two-tone treatment is given to the interior as well.

Vesuvius Edition Evoque’s seats are finished in black leather and alcantara with Vesuvius Orange detail, contrast stitching on the transmission tunnel, dashboard and armrests. The interior also uses diamond quilt generously.

The custom gauges are colored Vesuvius Orange. Of course, Kahn Design wants to please all of its customers so if this color scheme isn’t your favourite, the company can design a custom vehicle using the buyer’s preferences. The package costs $89,598 U.S., or about $6000 higher than the starting price of the full-size 2013 Range Rover in the U.S.

The brand-new Range Rover Evoque gathers inspiration straight from the LRX concept car that received global acclamation for its exhilarating new reimagination of traditional Range Rover design.

Clever design along with very precise engineering lets the essence of the LRX ideals be converted into actuality with no compromise to the core Range Rover principles of interior quality, sophisticated performing, and all-terrain ability.

Range Rover Evoque designates a strong evolution in Range Rover’s designs by embracing new versions of traditional Range Rover designs while remaining true to the Range Rover’s core values.

With its dramatically lifting waist, a sinewy shoulder that runs along the car’s length, and a distinct tapering in the roof’s floating line, the Evoque has a very vibrant profile with a strong and sporty stance.

The wheels are pushed out to the corners to help give the vehicle a focused posture. The wheel arches are broad but are softly blended into the body, and the delicately sculptured corners vividly lessen the car's apparent overhangs in the front and rear.

Impeccable luxury interior

Under its striking exterior, the Range Rover Evoque gives customers an faultlessly crafted luxurious cabin, combining quality premium materials and sophisticated design, as one would expect of a Range Rover.
