Lamborghini Aventador receives special edition PUR PS05V.2 wheels

Article by Christian A., on April 30, 2014

We have great news for those who love to improve the looks of their supercars as SR Auto Group has just released their exclusive PUR RS05.V2 wheels. The new wheels feature an original design that uses the capabilities of carbon fiber. Still, most of you guys may not be impressed with the new wheels because they are inspired by those found on the exclusive Lamborghini Reventon.

As you can see from the photos, the wheels feature a signature fin design made of carbon fiber, but what’s more important is that only 25 sets of these wheels will be produced and delivered worldwide. The new wheels measure out a staggered fitment of 20x9 and 21x12.5.

We must admit that the Lamborghini Aventador fitted with the new PUR RS05.V2 design wheels looks absolutely impressive. The vehicle you see in the images was also upgraded with new accessories similar to those found on the Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 50 Anniversario, consisting on a new front spoiler, a new rear air diffuser but also a brand new rear wing spoiler.

Under the hood, we expect to see the same 6.5-liter V12 engine that generates 515 kW or 700 hp and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque at 5,500 rpm. With a standard weight of 1,575 kg (3,472 lbs), the standard Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 hits 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.9 seconds, while top speed is limited at 350 km/h or 217 mph.

The Lamborghini Aventador has a suggested price of $379,700 USD in the United States. Unfortunately, SR Auto Group didn’t release any details regarding the price tag of their PUR RS05.V2 wheels, but considering the fact that their will be manufactured in a limited edition don’t expect them to be cheap!
