We have great news for those who love to improve the looks of their supercars as SR Auto Group has just released their exclusive PUR RS05.V2 wheels. The new wheels feature an original design that uses the capabilities of carbon fiber. Still, most of you guys may not be impressed with the new wheels because they are inspired by those found on the exclusive Lamborghini Reventon.
As you can see from the photos, the wheels feature a signature fin design made of carbon fiber, but what’s more important is that only 25 sets of these wheels will be produced and delivered worldwide. The new wheels measure out a staggered fitment of 20x9 and 21x12.5.
We must admit that the Lamborghini Aventador fitted with the new PUR RS05.V2 design wheels looks absolutely impressive. The vehicle you see in the images was also upgraded with new accessories similar to those found on the Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 50 Anniversario, consisting on a new front spoiler, a new rear air diffuser but also a brand new rear wing spoiler.
Under the hood, we expect to see the same 6.5-liter V12 engine that generates 515 kW or 700 hp and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque at 5,500 rpm. With a standard weight of 1,575 kg (3,472 lbs), the standard Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 hits 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.9 seconds, while top speed is limited at 350 km/h or 217 mph.
The Lamborghini Aventador has a suggested price of $379,700 USD in the United States. Unfortunately, SR Auto Group didn’t release any details regarding the price tag of their PUR RS05.V2 wheels, but considering the fact that their will be manufactured in a limited edition don’t expect them to be cheap!
Lamborghini has always been known to have a design that shows aggressive power but remains to be beautiful with spectacular dynamics being elegant. Even with just one look, there is no doubt that the Aventador is truly a Lamborghini. It is wrapped in the unique design language characteristic of the brand. The proportions are truly powerful especially with the use of precise surfaces and exact lines.
Each detail meanwhile shows that tight muscularity. There is a reason why the Centro Stile Lamborghini designers decided to build on this particular design language and this is to ensure that the new Aventador has that needed advantage.
The extremely dynamic sculpture and the way the front section has been sharply honed as well as its low roofline and the unique rear diffuser mean that the Aventador is truly an avant-garde work of art. Each line on this model come with a clear function as each form is founded on the need for speed. However, the overall appearance continues to be breath-taking and spectacular.
Speaking of impressive proportions, the overall length of the Aventador is 188.19 inches (4.78 meters) and this is complemented with the width, which includes exterior mirrors, measuring 88.98 inches (2.26 meters). Being a Lamborghini model, customers can expect that the doors on the Aventador open upward, both of which are composed of carbon-fiber monocoque.
This particular feature, the door opening upward, was first seen on the now iconic Countach. After that, it was implemented on the V12 models like the Murciélago and the Diablo. Particularly for the Aventador, it brings to mind the previous model which is the Murciélago. This new model has air intakes that are electronically operated and open based on how much cooling air is needed and what the outdoor temperature is.
As such, maximum aerodynamic efficiency is guaranteed. At the heart of this Lamborghini is the 12-cylinder engine. For those who want to show this off, the brand is offering as an option a transparent engine bonnet. This results in displaying the engine much like a technical work of art.
