The Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG was introduced back in February 2013 and made quite a buzz with its 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that generates 360 hp (265 kW) and 450 Nm of torque. Using a seven-speed AMG SpeedShift DCT transmission, the A45 AMG accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.6 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph or 250 km/h.
Still, GAD Motors considered that these numbers are not enough for the German hot hatch and as a result it remapped the ECU of the engine and boosted the 2.0-liter engine to an impressive 430 hp (316 kW) and 550 Nm of torque.
Thanks to the new improvements, the A45 AMG tuned by GAD Motors is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.1 seconds and to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 14.3 seconds (-3 seconds over the standard vehicle).
What’s more interesting is that this is only the first stage of the tuning program… we are eager to see the next one! The vehicle also received a new set of 19-inch OZ Racing Superforgiata multi-spoke alloy wheels painted in black and wrapped in high-performance Pirelli tires.
